Senior Profiles
Over the years members of the Flight101 Jets have gone on to continue their education at colleges and universities all over the country. We'd like to recognize our 2014 graduates and wish them success in the future.
Katie Mokros
A senior at Canton Central Catholic High School, Katie has been a member of Flight101 for 6 seasons. She is a AAU Regional Champion and has qualified for the Nationals every year since the 7th grade. In 2013 Katie won the Ohio Div III 100 and 200m dashes, becoming the first athlete in Stark County to win both events in over a decade. A member of the National Honor Society Katie will be attending Walsh University in the fall.
Taylor Thompkins
Taylor joined the Flight101 Jets when she was 9 years old. She is an AAU National Qualifier and Regional Champion as a member of the Jets 4 x100 relay. While at Canton South, Taylor was a 3 time State finalist in the 4 x100 relay and placed 5th in the 100m dash at States in 2013. Taylor will be joining two other members of the Jets (Katrina Richburg and Nina Grambling) at Youngstown State University in the fall.
Sydney Vaughn
A member of Canton South's State finalist 4 x 100 meter team, Sydney has run with the Jets for the past 4 seasons. Sydney is also a AAU National qualifier in both the 4 x 100m relay and long jump. A member of the National Honor Society, Sydney will be joining her fellow Wildcats and Jets teammate Imani Bush at Wayne State University in the fall.
Ebonee Williams
Ebonee Williams is another long-time member of the Flight101 Jets having joined the team in 2007. An AAU National qualifer Ebonee is also a member of Canton South's State 4 x 100m relay team. Ebonee will be attending Walsh University in the fall where she'll be joining Jets teammates Katie Mokros and Mikala Dearing.
